Love, art, and luxury merged seamlessly with these magical engagement photos at The Met in New York City. As an NYC Engagement Photographer who, frankly, has been killing it, I’ve had the pleasure of documenting Caroline and Ben’s love, from their rainy DUMBO proposal to their engagement party last November. Now, we continued this, exploring iconic NYC landmarks and equally iconic arts within The Met.

A Journey of Love and Art:

The engagement session started at the famous Bow Bridge, where their affectionate glances and warm smiles set the tone for the day. Next, we headed towards Bethesda Terrace, a sight synonymous with romance in NYC. The grand architecture of the terrace served as an awe-inspiring backdrop, emphasizing the couple’s love.

On our way to The Met, we made a stop at a classic hotdog cart—an essential New York experience. Caroline and Ben of course had to pose with their breakfast hotdogs – how could you not? Haha. I really love how they’re able to serve so much fashion, drama, and sophistication – and are still able to totally crack up and take silly photos with some hot dogs.

With Caroline’s gorgeous dressed and Ben’s classic suit, both looked like they were ready for The Met… Gala that is. Their impeccable fashion choices showcased their personalities and added an air of fancy vintage to their photos.

The Met: Where Love and Art Converge:

Arriving at The Met, the grandeur of the museum’s architecture seemed to mirror the grandness of Caroline and Ben’s love. The vast art collection became the backdrop for their love story, narrating a tale of two souls intertwined. Each exhibit framed their love differently, giving the images an artistic touch that was as timeless as the art itself.

As we explored the museum’s magnificent galleries, we seized the opportunity to capture a sweet and exciting moment—a pregnancy announcement image! Caroline’s little baby bump was a perfect reminder of the new chapters they’re about to embark upon!

Caroline and Ben’s love transcended time and space, and it was evident in every photograph we took. Their love will soon lead them to Georgia for their wedding! Their engagement photos at The Met marked a significant milestone in their love story that they’ll enjoy forever!

After walking through a few more exhibits Caroline and Ben’s engagement session at The Met museum drew to a close. The morning had been a celebration of love, art, and fashion, capturing beautiful moments in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
