Lulu and Tamaki’s wedding at Saga in NYC was a breathtaking celebration of love, creativity, and the beauty of shared memories. Saga, located atop 70 Pine Street, provided an unparalleled setting for their intimate Jewish ceremony, with sweeping views of the city creating a stunning backdrop. With only 20 of their closest friends present, the ceremony felt deeply personal. One of their best friends played piano, filling the space with heartfelt music that made the moment even more magical.
Lulu’s dress and jewelry were a testament to her artistic vision. Her outfit was uniquely designed, reflecting her creative personality and the love she and Tamaki share for artistry. Tamaki’s style complemented hers perfectly, exuding understated elegance. The couple’s commitment to individuality and expression was evident throughout the day.
After the ceremony, the reception welcomed about 75 guests, transforming the evening into a joyous celebration. Saga’s dining spaces, known for their impeccable design and warm ambiance, set the stage for an unforgettable meal. Guests admired the intricate décor while indulging in culinary creations crafted with care.
The night also paid homage to their dear friend, James “Jamal” Kent, Saga’s executive chef who had tragically passed away just months before the wedding. His legacy was honored in touching ways: his two children served as ring bearers, Lulu and Tamaki took a private moment in the kitchen to reflect on his impact, and they posed for photos with the kitchen staff to celebrate his memory.
The celebration continued upstairs at Overstory, where guests reveled in the stunning rooftop views and chic atmosphere. It was the perfect way to end the night, combining laughter, dancing, and breathtaking scenery.
