Erika and Luke’s engagement session in the West Village perfectly captured the charm of fall in New York City. With its historic streets, brownstone stoops, and ivy-covered buildings, the neighborhood was the ideal backdrop for their photos.
The early morning light made everything glow, and since the streets were still quiet, we had the rare chance to capture beautiful, uninterrupted shots of them crossing intersections and strolling down empty sidewalks. Fall was everywhere—pumpkins and gourds decorated stoops, deep red and orange ivy wrapped around buildings, and even the warm tones of the neighborhood’s classic architecture fit the season perfectly.
Erika looked effortlessly elegant in a cream-colored knit dress paired with black boots, while Luke kept it timeless with a navy jacket, khaki pants, and black horsebit loafers. Together, they blended into the West Village’s cozy, autumn aesthetic, making every shot feel natural and romantic.
Mornings like this remind me why engagement sessions in NYC are so special—timing, location, and the right couple make all the difference. If you’re planning your engagement session, contact me and let’s create something timeless together!
My process with couples is to work hard, have fun, & be ourselves. Getting amazing photos should be—and is— that easy.
