Hallockville Museum Farm traces its roots back to the 18th century, when the original portion of the Hallock Homestead was built in 1765 by Ruben Brown. Over the years, the farm passed through several generations of the Hallock family, including Captain Zachariah Hallock 2nd, whose descendants lived in the homestead until 1979. As the North Fork community evolved, Hallockville became a hub for immigrant families from Eastern Europe, who transformed the area with their agricultural pursuits.
