Vibrant Summer Wedding at Boscobel House

Ellina and George’s wedding at Boscobel House and Gardens was a breathtaking celebration set against the majestic backdrop of the Hudson River. The ceremony took place in the West Meadow, offering panoramic views of the river and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Aisles adorned with white daisies, baby’s breath, and lush greenery led to a serene ceremony space, embodying the timeless elegance of the venue.

The couple’s first look unfolded in Boscobel’s meticulously landscaped grounds – intimate moments framed by the estate’s natural beauty. For portraits, we utilized iconic spots such as the Formal Garden, inspired by classic English designs with its central fountain and elegant hedges, and the Forecourt, enclosed by charming brick walls and shaded by the estate’s glorious Maple Lane.

Ellina was giving grace – wearing a flowing tulle gown with delicate straps and a long, elegant train, complemented by a light veil that danced in the breeze. George was the epitome of classic style in a navy tuxedo paired with a black bowtie.

Despite an earlier sun shower, the weather cleared to reveal a stunning sunset, casting a golden hue over the Hudson River and enhancing the evening’s ambiance. The reception was held in Boscobel’s 5,000-square-foot, air-conditioned pavilion, nestled within the West Meadow. The space seamlessly blended grandeur and intimacy, accommodating guests comfortably and offering a canopied terrace for moments of respite.

A live string quartet serenaded guests during the indoor cocktail hour, setting an elevated and joyful tone. Transitioning to the reception, a lively brass band led a spirited second line, infusing the celebration with energy and prompting guests to dance their way into the pavilion.

A standout detail was the creative seating chart—a wall adorned with vintage hotel key tags, each featuring delicate fabric tassels, guiding guests to their tables with a touch of nostalgic charm.

Ellina and George’s wedding seamlessly combined natural beauty, historical elegance, and personal touches, creating an unforgettable experience. For couples envisioning a wedding that embodies these elements, Boscobel House and Gardens offers an unparalleled setting.
