Tamara and Chad’s Jewish wedding in the Hudson Valley at the historic Wainwright House was a celebration that seamlessly blended ancient Jewish traditions with modern elegance, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
Honoring Tradition with Heart and Soul
From the lively Tisch to the dramatic circling of the groom, Tamara and Chad’s ceremony was steeped in Jewish tradition. The Tisch brought together male family members and friends in a joyous celebration of brotherhood, with laughter, singing, and words of encouragement filling the air. As Chad participated in this spirited pre-ceremony ritual, the energy and excitement set the stage for the profound moments to come.
During the ceremony, Tamara and Chad lovingly exchanged vows under the chuppah, a symbol of their new home together. The circling ritual, where Tamara circled Chad seven times, served as a powerful reminder of their commitment to support and care for each other throughout their marriage. The breaking of the glass marked the joyous conclusion of the ceremony, followed by the Sheva B’rachot and the traditional dance of the Hora, celebrating the couple’s union with exuberance and joy.
A Spectacular Venue Overlooking the Hudson
Set against the backdrop of Wainwright House in Rye, NY, Tamara and Chad’s wedding took place amidst stunning views of the Hudson River and Manhattan. The sun cast its golden glow, the sky painted a brilliant blue, and a rainbow appeared over the venue, seemingly blessing the union with its vibrant hues. The picturesque setting added to the festivities, making it a truly magical experience for all.
Whimsical Florals and Fashionable Attire
The florals, like as something out of a Dr. Seuss book, added whimsy and charm to the occasion. Vibrant colors and unconventional arrangements adorned the venue, creating an atmosphere of enchantment and joy. Meanwhile, the guests arrived dressed to impress, with bold color choices, vintage shoes, and stylish frills galore. It felt less like a wedding and more like a high-fashion runway, with each guest adding their unique flair to the celebration.
Tamara and Chad’s wedding was a testament to the beauty of tradition, the magic of nature, and the joy of love. It was a day filled with laughter, tears, and moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
